Toddler Found Wandering In The Dark Street In Westlake
A Good Samaritan found the child, and police are investigating to find how the child was left unattended in the street overnight.

LOS ANGELES, CA — A Good Samaritan came to the aid of a toddler found wandering in the street in the darkness of the early morning hours Tuesday in Westlake.
The child was believed to be about 2 years old, and it wasn't immediately clear how the toddler came to be wandering the street alone in the dark.
"The call came in at about 4:15 a.m.of a child found walking in the street in the 400 block of South Burlington Avenue," said Los Angeles Police Department Officer Annie Moran. "The person who called the police waited for the police to get there, and they took the child back to the station."

The crying toddler was wearing a white T-shirt and officers were seen wrapping the child in a sweater, KTLA reported. The child's family eventually came to the station to collect the toddler.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the incident, said Moran. If it turns out to be a criminal matter, child abuse would be the charge, she added.
