Truck Goes Over Hollywood Hillside, Taking Landing On Garage
A gardener lost control of a truck and careened off the road in Hollywood Hills, taking down telephone lines before landing atop a garage.
HOLLYWOOD HILLS, CA — A gardener lots control of a pick-up truck and careened down a hillside, taking down communications and cable lines in the Hollywood Hills Tuesday afternoon.
The truck went over the side of the road near 1227 Ozeta Terrace, and eventually landed half on top of a detached garage and half atop a wrought iron fence below, said Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Brian Humphrey.
The crash occurred shortly before 1 p.m. It wasn't immediately clear how many homes cable or telephone serves as a result of the crash nor when services would be restored.
