Union Station Rampage Leaves Trail Of Destruction
A man went on an early-morning rampage at Union Station, breaking into patrol cars and attacking a Metro security guard Wednesday.

LOS ANGELES, CA — Police arrested a man who allegedly went on an early-morning rampage around Union Station Wednesday leaving a trail of damaged cars and injuries.
It all started at about 4:30 a.m. outside Union Station, said LAPD Officer Sal Ramirez. According to police, a man in his 30s smashed through the windows of two LAPD patrol cars parked outside the train station. He stole items from inside the units and then broke into a private vehicle and stole a bladed weapon, Ramirez added.
That's when a Metro security guard tried to stop him, using pepper spray. But the suspect got away and then stole a Metro security vehicle and drove out of the lot only to crash the car on nearby Vignes Street, Ramirez said.
