Father Of Baby Taken In Carjacking Goes After Suspect: LAPD
The baby's mother was exiting her car to pick up a mobile Starbucks order when the suspect pushed her and drove off with the child in tow.

LOS ANGELES, CA — A baby was found safe after a person carjacked a vehicle Tuesday with the child inside, according to police.
The incident was reported around 2 p.m. at Woodman Avenue and Sherman Way, a commercial intersection in the San Fernando Valley, police said. The vehicle was found about 25 minutes later with the 1-year-old inside, according to police.
The suspect was taken into custody, police said.

The father of the briefly abducted child was at the scene when the arrest was made, and he angrily tried to attack the handcuffed suspect. Video from the scene showed the father being restrained by police officers and led away from the suspect.
The father, Gustavo Flores, told ABC7 at the scene that the boy's mother called him while he was at work nearby and frantically told him, "The baby's gone."

Flores said the woman had stopped at Starbucks and the baby was asleep, so she was getting out to grab a mobile order she had placed. But when she got out, the suspect pushed her out of the way and drove off.
