Very Pregnant Woman Gets The Better Of Robber [VIDEO]
A robber made the mistake of trying to steal from an 8-months-pregnant woman who was having none of it.
SANTA CLARITA, CA — A robber took on an 8-months-pregnant woman in Santa Clarita, and guess who won that battle?
The feisty mom-to-be came out on top. Now police are asking for the public’s help identifying the man seen on a liquor store security video snatching a handful of cash 23-year-old Jannette Garlow was counting in order to buy a money order for her rent.
The man didn’t get very far with Garlow’s money.

“I kind of chased after him, and he ended up slipping on the little rug that they have inside there,” Garlow told KRON4 News. “So when he went down I was already trying to get him and then holding on to him, and then I kind of fell on the floor and went down, and he got up and started dragging me out and running.”
But it didn’t end there. The thief headed for a waiting car, shouting at his accomplices to speed away. However, Garlow still wasn’t ready to let him escape.

“That's one thing about her, she’s going to go for it no matter what. It’s fight or flight, and she is going to fight,” her husband explained to a reporter.
And fight she did.
“I grabbed onto the car door as he was yelling, ‘Go, Go, Go!’ And all I could really think was you’re not taking my rent money,” said Garlow. “My husband just worked so hard for that money, I’m going to get that money back.”
The thief managed to escape, but he dropped most of the money. He ended up taking just $40.
Her husband isn’t at all surprised by the outcome. “You are definitely not going to get something from her if you need it,” he said. “She’s going to chase you down to the fullest effect.
The incident happened at 10:25 a.m. Friday in the 18200 block of Soledad Canyon Road, according to Shirley Miller, public information officer for the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department Santa Clarita Valley Station.
