When It Comes To 'Hamilton,' LA Will Have To Wait For It
The Los Angeles production of "Hamilton" will not arrive at the Hollywood Pantages theater until next spring.

LOS ANGELES, CA – The Los Angeles production of "Hamilton" will not arrive at the Hollywood Pantages theater until next spring, the producers announced Thursday.
All performances of the popular Broadway musical have been canceled through Feb. 28, 2021. "Hamilton" is slated to open in L.A. in April 2021.
"We understand our responsibility to make careful choices in service of your health and safety," producers said in the announcement. "We continue to monitor the developments of COVID-19 and have made the difficult, but necessary decision to cancel ALL performances of HAMILTON between September 8, 2020 through February 28, 2021."

"Hamilton" will run on two specific sets of dates: April 6 – June 27 and Oct. 12 – Jan. 2. There will be no performances at the theater between June 28 and Oct. 11 due to other commitments at the theater.
All customers who currently have tickets for a performance between Sept. 8, 2020 and Feb. 28, 2021 will receive an email with information about ticket refunds and will be given priority access to the new performances in 2021.

Tickets for the 2021 performances will go on sale on July 28.
