Hey Dodgers Fans, Here's How To Win World Series Level Donuts

LOS ANGELES, CA — What’s the only thing that could make the Dodgers World Series sweeter? Donuts. Dodger Donuts to be exact.

As the Dodgers take on the Boston Red Sox in the World Series, Primo’s Donuts, an LA institution is celebrating with Dodger Donuts available for as long as the team stays in the World Series. The blue and white Dodger-themed, limited edition donuts are shaped like a baseball. They are available by reservation as both jelly-filled or plain donuts, but you could be the lucky person to win a dozen Dodger donuts. Today is your last chance to enter for a chance to win. Patch will announce the lucky winner Friday.

The Primo family has been baking donuts in Los Angeles since 1956, just two years before the Dodgers came to town. The Los Angeles Times credits Primo's with "some of the best buttermilk bars in the city — tangy and covered in crunchy sweet edges." Owners Ralph and Celia Primo bleed blue, and they are sharing their love of the Dodgers with the custom confection.

“We really love the Dodgers. They are our Dodgers. We watch every game, and we are there rooting for them,” said Celia Primo. “They are going to make it this year, go all the way, and make us very happy.”

Primo's Donuts on Sawtelle Boulevard is famous for its mouth-watering confections, and a second shop will open on Main Street in Venice this year. Ralph Primo thinks he knows just how to motivate the team to win the World Series for the first time since 1988.

“If they do make it, we’ll give them a free donut,” he said.
