Woman, 37, Killed In North Hollywood Crash

The Los Angeles County Coroner's office identified a woman killed in North Hollywood when her vehicle struck a tree and caught fire.

NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA — A 37-year-old woman killed Monday in a fiery North Hollywood crash was identified Friday.

According to the Los Angeles County Coroner's office, Michelle Gutierrez died at the scene of the crash from injuries suffered after her vehicle struck a street and caught fire.

The crash was reported at 6:07 a.m. Monday on the transition from the southbound Hollywood (170) Freeway to the eastbound Ventura (134) Freeway, prompting a SigAlert that lasted through the morning rush hour, according to the California Highway Patrol.
