Woman Wounded In Metro Bus Stabbing In Downtown LA
The Los Angeles Police Department was investigating the stabbing.
LOS ANGELES, CA — A woman was stabbed Saturday while riding a Metro bus in downtown Los Angeles.
The assault occurred just before 7 a.m. Saturday on Metro Bus line 76 at the intersection of Olympic Boulevard and Grand Avenue, Metro spokesman Jose Ubaldo told City News Service.
The woman was taken by Los Angeles Fire Department ambulance to a hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries, Ubaldo said. The suspect remained at large.

NBC4 reported the woman was stabbed in the midsection.
A possible motive for the attack was not provided.
