One restaurant's fans pushed it to the top of Patch's poll for the best burger in town.
The results are in, and Patch readers named home to the best burger in Los Alamitos, Seal Beach and Rossmoor.
Is anyone really surprised?
Sure, the burgers at and are both gourmet and mouthwatering, but nothing can beat a Volcano Burger before a Friday night game at Los Alamitos High School. It’s not just a burger, it’s a local rite of passage, served hot, eaten in the car, and rung up by a cheerful student from the high school right across the street.

A total of nine restaurants were nominated and received votes in the poll. Volcano Burger took the lead wit 20 percent of the vote, but the competition was fierce from runners up such as Paul’s Place, Café del Sol and Islands.
