Bald Man Yells Curses at Passing Cars

Also in local crime calls, a man who said he was having a heart attack became unresponsive during a call to the emergency services.

  • 06/26/2013 — 2:26 p.m. — Ocean Avenue — Someone found wallets, books, keys and a necklace and turned them into the police department. 

COUNSELING

  • 06/26/2013 — 3:24 p.m. — Montecito Road — A caller said he’s having issues with an apartment unit that he allegedly continually smells of drugs.

PATROL CHECK

  • 06/26/2013 — 3:40 p.m. — Seal Beach Boulevard and Electric Avenue — Two transients were reported on the green belts spreading cans all over the grass. It turned out they were sorting recyclables.

DISTURBANCE

  • 06/26/2013 — 7:07 p.m. — Marina Drive — A man on the corner was yelling profanities at cars that passed by. He was described as 60-years-old, bald and wearing a blue shirt and black pants.

HIT AND RUN PARKED VEHICLE

  • 06/26/2013 —8:46 p.m. — 14th Street — A small white or gray SUV hit a parked white Mercedes Benz. The driver and the owner of the SUV exchanged insurance information.

MEDICAL AID

  • 06/26/2013 — 11:23 p.m. — Fairfield Lane — A man who told the Orange County Fire Authority he was having a heart attack may have gone unconscious during the call.  Leisure World security was notified of the incident.
