Brush Fire Near Magnolia St. Homeless Encampment
A small brush fire was reported near a Magnolia Street and 5- Freeway homeless encampment in Orange County.

BUENA PARK, CA — A fire was reported beneath the 5-Freeway at North Magnolia Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Officers on scene reported a small blaze burning at or near what could be a homeless encampment at approximately 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday. A Hispanic man was seen attempting to put out the flames, officers reported.
Anaheim police and fire responded to help put out the small brush fire before it spread.

Temperatures in the area are approximately 102-degrees, with an excessive heat warning in effect until 8 p.m. Wednesday night.
