Car Chase Ends with Arrest of Burglary Suspects on Katella

Three burglary suspects led police on a chase along the 22, 405 and 605 freeways to Katella where one suspect tried to flee on foot.

Three suspects were arrested today following a police pursuit triggered by a burglary investigation in Garden Grove.

About 11 a.m., officers were sent to the 6700 block of Stanford Avenue on a burglary-in- progress call, Garden Grove police Capt. Ben Stauffer said.

As police were setting up a perimeter on the home being burglarized, the suspects exited the residence and fled in a vehicle, Stauffer said.

The pursuit continued north on the San Diego (405) Freeway and then north on the San Gabriel (605) Freeway, Stauffer said. At Katella Avenue, the driver exited and stopped the vehicle, he said.
