ANAHEIM, CA — Disneyland, Orange County's largest employer at 32,000 cast members, is celebrating one special love affair between coworkers. "Every year, we are inundated with stories of cast members meeting their significant other while working here," a park spokesperson told Patch.

In 2020, the Disneyland Resort is celebrating the love of Samantha and Adam (last names not shared). "They were two Jungle Cruise skippers who found their happily ever after while working together in the park," they said.

In 2013, Samantha began working at the Disneyland Resort. On a day that she fell ill and Adam came to her rescue with Advil and water. Soon after, he asked her on a romantic date to Steakhouse 55 at the Disneyland Resort Hotel, followed by a romantic ride on the Mark Twain Riverboat across the Rivers of America.

They were married by another skipper from the Jungle Cruise, surrounded by cast member friends.

Today, they are both Attractions stage managers in the Disney California Adventure Park, Patch was told.

Of course, we asked them which Disney couple they compare themselves to. Samantha had the best answer of all. "Our relationship is so special," she said, there is no other Disney Prince and Princess pair that even comes close.

"The Disneyland Resort saved me in so many ways," Adam said. "It gave me a career that I love, friends that will last a lifetime and it gave me Sam. I am eternally grateful. That’s part of what makes me so dedicated to this job."
