Earthquake Rattles Orange County
A small earthquake epicentered near Brea struck Wednesday night, and it was felt from the San Gabriel Valley to Fullerton.

ORANGE COUNTY, CA — A small earthquake epicentered near Brea shook the Orange County area Wednesday night. The quake was a magnitude 3.2 temblor that struck at 7:26 p.m., according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The earthquake was nearly six miles deep and could be felt from inland northern Orange County to the San Gabriel Valley. Residents in Fullerton, Yorba Linda and Diamond Bar reported shaking, according to the USGS. The strongest shaking was felt in the Brea and Placentia areas.
The watch commander at the Brea Police Department said he felt "one quick jolt," but said no damage or injuries were immediately reported.
