One of Long Beach’s most romantic restaurants is getting even more heated with its Valentine’s line-up. La Traviata is offering romantics of all ages a series of specials and live entertainment Friday, Feb 10, 2011 through Monday, February 14, 2011.
The highlight of the weekend will be a 4-course, prix fixe dinner prepared by Executive Chef Trinidad Betancourt who will cook up a sumptuous meal starting with a choice of lobster or spaghetti squash ravioli followed by a California fresh salad with field greens tossed in a vinaigrette with pear tomatoes and candied walnuts. Entrees include South African white fish (similar to Chilean sea bass) or a tender filet mignon with Stilton bleu cheese and a Madera wine sauce. The meal will be topped off with a chocolate hearts gelato.
Cost is $59 per person. Chanteuse Sheryl Smith will croon love songs during most of the 4-day period.
