A local business will celebrate joining the Seal Beach Chamber of Commerce, July 9.
The Angel Store on Main Street will hold a ribbon cutting at 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at 130 Main Street. The event includes discounts and food and drinks.
The location was formerly the site of The Old Town Gallery, according to Marygrace Word owner of the Angel Store, for 12 years. On Jan. 1 this year, however, Word opened the new store, which, she said, sells "spiritual art, jewelry and gifts."

Word said she joined the Chamber, so she could get the word out about her new business.
“I love the people here in Seal Beach,” Word said. “They're just amazing, beautiful people.”

The store is open Monday through Thursday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday through Sunday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
