Family Tied Up At Gunpoint By Masked Robbers In OC Home Invasion
Three of the four suspects involved in the home invasion eluded police and remain at large, authorities say.

WESTMINSTER, CA — An Orange County family was tied up and held at gunpoint this week after four armed robbers broke into their home, used a stun gun on one of the residents, and demanded to know where they kept their valuables, authorities said Tuesday.
The Westminster Police Department was called to the 8900 block of Pebble Beach Circle on Sept. 11 around 10:40 p.m. after a woman called 911 and whispered that she needed help, according to a WPD statement.
Upon arrival, police found four men armed with handguns running from the home.

One suspect, identified as 29-year-old Banning resident Danny Sommay, was arrested after throwing his handgun over a brick wall. The gun was found and later discovered to be a stolen handgun, according to a WPD news release.
Inside the home, police found five victims. They were only identified as an adult man and woman, an elderly woman, a teenage boy and a 7-year-old girl.

According to Westminster Police Department Sgt. Eddie Esqueda, the suspects forced entry into the home with their guns while wearing masks. One of the suspects apparently used a stun gun on the adult man, forcing him to the ground.
The man, the two children and the elderly woman were tied up as the robbers attempted to find valuables in the house.
