FARMERS & MERCHANTS BANK INVITES LOCAL COMMUNITY TO SUPPORT THE LONG BEACH FIREFIGHTERS ASSOCIATION BY ATTENDING THE ‘BIG BANG ON THE BAY’ EVENT
As
one of the major sponsors of the third annual ‘Big Bang on the Bay’ fireworks
event on Thursday, July 3, Farmers &
Merchants Bank (F&M) invites the local community to come out for a
spectacular evening of concerts,
vintage aircraft flyovers, skydivers, a sailing regatta and fireworks. The event is touted as a big local block party spanning
across Alamitos Bay, which is shared by the communities of Seal Beach, Naples
Island and Belmont Shore. As F&M has been a long-time supporter of local Long
Beach firefighters throughout the bank’s more than 107-year history, all
proceeds from the event will benefit the Long Beach Firefighters
Association.
“The ‘Big Bang on the Bay’ event

all that is great about America – family, strength and prosperity,” said W.

F&M Bank founder C.J. Walker, and long-time resident of Long Beach. “F&M

entire bank family whole-heartedly stands behind our local heroes, the Long
Beach Firefighters Association and asks the community to do the same.”
With a deep-rooted sense of
‘service above self,’ F&M and its leaders have donated to hundreds of local
charities and non-profit organizations. Having strong ties to the Long Beach
community since the company’s inception, F&M supports many organizations
such as: the Long Beach Police & Fire Departments, the Long Beach Symphony Orchestra

‘Big Bang on the Bay’ event is at
The Boathouse on The Bay restaurant located at 190 Marina Drive in Long
Beach. Event
participants are encouraged to support the Long Beach Firefighters Association
by purchasing one of several ticket options. Tickets start at $20 for kids 10 and under, $40 for outside
seating, $50 for inside seating and $75 for patio seating. All tickets
include a BBQ dinner catered by Naples Rib Joint. For more information
