Fatal Single Car Crash on Magnolia and Adams
A fatal single car collision occurred early Monday when a driver careened into a tree on Magnolia Street and Adams in Huntington Beach.

SEAL BEACH, CA — A car slammed into a center divider and then careened into a tree on Magnolia Street near Adams, in Huntington Beach Monday, killing the 25-year-old driver.
The collision occurred about 4:50 a.m. at Magnolia Street and Adams Avenue, police said.
The name of the victim, who lived in Moreno Valley, was withheld pending notification of his family.

He was driving a black 2013 Toyota Camry that was southbound on Magnolia, south of Adams, when it hit the center divider and then a tree, police said.
One witness claimed to have seen the vehicle.

"I saw this guy speeding and swerving on Magnolia," Jane Schwartz told the Huntington Beach Police via Facebook. "He ran the light at Talbert and almost hit a car, continued down Magnolia."
The investigation is ongoing, and being conducted by the Huntington Beach Police Department's Major Incident Reconstruction Team.
