Firefighters Douse Blaze at os Alamitos Race Course
The cause of an early morning fire at the Los Alamitos Race Course is under investigation.
Firefighters today quickly extinguished a fire in a stack of about 40 wooden pallets at Los Alamitos Race Course.
A dozen firefighters sent to 4961 Katella Ave. at 6 a.m. doused the flames in 20 minutes, said Capt. Steve Concialdi of the Orange County Fire Authority. No one was hurt.
The fire burned in an outdoor storage area at a remote location on the property, and no animals were threatened, Concialdi said.

The cause of the fire was under investigation. A damage estimate was not immediately available.
