Flash Mob Takes Christmas Caroling To Another Level

Los Alamitos High School choir alum Zenna Hodge joined 90 members of her college choir in a flash mob Christmas carol at LAX.

From Broadway to TV, the vocalists from the Los Alamitos High School choirs have gone on to do great things with their talent. Having won the national championships for two straight years, the students this year performed with the cast of "Hairspray" at the Hollywood Bowl.

But one Los Al grad recently trumped them all, performing at one of the largest star-studded venues in the world: LAX.

Last Friday, Los Alamitos alum and current Azusa Pacific University student Zenna Hodge joined about 90 singers from the university choir in a flash mob to sing Christmas carols for weary travelers arriving at the airport.  They blended with the crowds and erupted into seemingly spontaneous song at eight different terminals, baggage carousals and check-in areas.

Imagine the surprise to weary travelers after a long flight when suddenly the entire terminal echoes with perfect harmonies. Not a bad way to start a California holiday.
