Waking up with the waves on Friday, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Los Alamitos-Seal Beach Patch surf report.
Well don't be bummed out if you haven't been able to get in the water the last couple of days. Yep, we're seeing the continued run of fun surf out there.
The conditions are mostly clean and glassy early on, with a mixture of mainly slightly fading west northwest swell and a new minor dose of south southwesterly energy in the water. That's offering some fast and sectiony lines, with plenty of rippable corners, but some spots are breaking close to the beach and pretty dumpy.

Most Seal Beach breaks are running about knee to stomach high, with the focal points pulling some chest high sets. At 8:49 this morning the tide pushes up to a 5.8 high which is going to have many spots starting off kinda slow throughout the morning. The tide then drains out to a negative 0.7 low at 3:11 this afternoon.
If you're going to grab a few, break out at least the 3/2 full-suit and maybe the booties, with the water temperature averaging between 56 and 58 degrees. See ya in the water!!
