Waking up with the waves on Friday, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Los Alamitos-Seal Beach Patch surf report. Well it looks you find a few decent ones out there. Now... don't get too excited because this stretch of sand is still fairly small.
The conditions are starting off pretty clean, with a mix of some small west northwest swell, a little northwest energy and minor dose of southwesterly swell in the background.
That recipe is making for some workable lines that a bit crumbly, with a few steep shoulders. Most Seal Beach spots are hanging in the knee to thigh high range, with the top breaks pulling some waist high sets.

Taking a look at those tides...at 10:50 later this morning it drops to a 1.1 low and then doesn't push back up to a 4.6 high until 3:34 early Saturday morning. So, basically your not going to see much change throughout the day.
If you're going to grab a session, you'll want to throw on at least a 3/2 full-suit and maybe the booties, with the water temperature averaging between 56 and 57 degrees. See ya in the water!
