Waking up with the waves on Friday, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Los Alamitos-Seal Beach Patch surf report. Well, it looks like it picked up out there. So, if you have a little time to kill, definitely go grab a session.
The conditions are mostly clean and glassy early on, with a mix of decent west-northwest swell, some northwest energy and southerly swell in the background. That recipe is making for some fairly broken-up lines, with some nice corners.
Most Seal Beach spots are running about knee-to-chest high, with the focal points pulling a few bigger sets.

Unfortunately, we're still dealing with those extreme tides...so if you can you'll want to get out there once the tide has dropped a bit, but before it drains out all the way.
At 9:26 this morning the tide climbs up to a 5.4 high which will have many breaks off to a slow start. The tide then drops to a negative 0.3 low at 4:07 this afternoon.

If you're going to get wet, you'll need at least a 3/2 full-suit and possibly the booties, with the water temperature averaging between 56 and 57 degrees. See ya in the water!
