Gas Prices Climbing Once Again

After nearly two months of declines, gas prices are starting to climb back up this week, but Patch has found the cheapest stations in town.

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Orange County rose today for the fifth consecutive day after dropping 56 times in the pervious 57 days, increasing eight-tenths of a cent to $3.703.

The Orange County average price fell to its lowest amount since Jan. 1 on Thursday then increased 6 cents over the next five days, including two-tenths of a cent on Monday. It is 4.8 cents more than one week ago, but 23.9 cents less than one month ago and 9.4 cents lower than one year ago.
