Gas Prices Up In Los Alamitos

Gas prices were on the rise in Orange County but dropped elsewhere across the Southland. How much did you pay for gas?

LOS ALAMITOS, CA — How much did you pay for gas per gallon this week? Gas prices fell across the Southland except in Orange County. A run of 14 decreases in 15 days to the Orange County average price ended Wednesday with an increase of four-tenths of a cent to $3.11.

The averaged price dropped 6.9 cents over the previous 15 days, including four-tenths of a cent on Tuesday. The Orange County average price is 3.7 cents less than one week ago but 10.8 cents higher than one month ago and 35.1 cents more than one year ago.

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped Wednesday for the 16th consecutive day, falling four-tenths of a cent to $3.138. The average price has dropped 5.8 cents over the past 15 days, including four-tenths of a cent Tuesday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. The decreases follow a run of 16 increases in 17 days totaling 18.2 cents.

The average price is 3.7 cents less than one week ago but 10.9 cents higher than one month ago and 35.3 cents more than one year ago.
