Gas Prices in Los Alamitos, Orange County on the Rise

Gas Prices are on the rise in Orange County--What does that mean for Labor Day Traffic?

LOS ALAMITOS, CA — Will there be more drivers on the road this Labor Day?

The average price of a gallon of unleaded gasoline in Orange County has risen four-tenths of a cent today to $2.698. It has risen 13 times in 14 days, increasing 9.1 cents.

The Orange County average price is 2.7 cents higher than one week ago, but 9.6 cents less than one month ago and 84 cents lower than one year ago.

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose a half-cent today to $2.717.It was the second straight increase after a nine-day streak of increases ended Friday when the average price dropped one-tenth of a cent, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.The average price in Los Angeles County is 3.4 cents higher than one week ago but 9.4 cents less than one month ago and 88.7 cents lower than one year ago.
