Griffins Football Coach to Be Inducted into Hall of Fame Today
One of the most successful coaches in California history, John Barnes will be inducted into the Long Beach City Hall of Fame today along with three other alumni.
It’s a big day for Los Alamitos High School Football Coach John Barnes.
Barnes will take his place in the Long Beach City College Alumni Hall of Fame at a ceremony this morning. Then he will lead his football team into a big game against Sunset League opponents Newport Harbor tonight
California’s fourth all-time winningest coach, the longtime Griffin will share the honor with three other inductees at a service on the campus at 11:30 today.
