“Westminster Mall is the perfect place for families looking for Halloween entertainment in a fun, safe community environment,” said Nate Weirbach, Director of Marketing and Business Development at Westminster Mall. “Whether kids want to show off their new costume or take home some Halloween-themed crafts, there is an activity here for every ghost, witch, princess and werewolf. This Halloween event is a great addition to our year-long Simon Kidgits Club programs.”

This year, The Simon Kidgits Club will recognize October as Bully Prevention Month in association with ‘Malls & Retailers Unite Against Bullying,’ and their children’s property Captain McFinn.

Families who download the app can sign the Bully Free pledge and help spread the word about bully prevention. They can also spread kindness with one of the app’s featured activities, the Kindness Calendar. With the Kindness Calendar, children and parents receive prompts to complete acts of kindness. Once an act is complete, it is tracked in the Kindness feed. The more kind acts that are accomplished, the more badges children and their parents receive. This free app is a perfect and fun way for families to participate in Bully Prevention Month.

Westminster Mall will have several activity stations and games for children to enjoy, including pumpkin decorating, giveaways and crafts.

Westminster Mall will also have samples of Bon Bon Boom pops to live an intense flavor experience with all Halloween participants. Bon Bon Boom pops, bubble gum lollipops is available in a variety of intense flavors including Berry Explosion and Sour. It features a hard candy shell and a juicy gum center and will surely be a big hit!

While you’re celebrating, pick out a special gourd at the Pumpkin Factory pumpkin patch, open now through October 31. The pumpkin patch also features bounce houses, a petting zoo, pony rides, a snack bar, face painting, carving kits and even a helicopter ride. In addition to the Kidgits celebration, the mall will host “Halloween Happening at the Mall,” a Halloween party presented by City of Westminster on Halloween night, Thursday, October 31.
