A man with the mental capacity of 7-year-old is missing in North OC. It is believed he was heading from Westminster to Huntington Beach.

WESTMINSTER, CA — A search intensified Tuesday for a missing Westminster man said to have the mental capacity of a 7-year-old. He was last seen near Bolsa Avenue and Beach Boulevard.

"Family members last saw William Silcock, 31, about 7 p.m. Monday at his home in the 7600 block of Gonzaga Place," said Westminster police Cmdr. Cameron Knauerhaze. Silcock did not tell his family he was leaving, but he may have been headed to his mother's home in the 20000 block of Minerva Lane in Huntington Beach, Knauerhaze said.

Silcock has left home unannounced before and has been found near Hoover Street and Bolsa Avenue by the railroad tracks, Knauerhaze said.
