Homicide In Garden Grove: Man Shot In Front Of Lampson Home

GARDEN GROVE, CA — A 33-year-old man died after being shot repeatedly in front of a Garden Grove home early Wednesday, police say.

The victim, whose name was not immediately released, was found with multiple gunshot wounds just after 1:15 a.m. in front of a residence in the 8000 block of Lampson Avenue.

The shooter fled before officers arrived and there was no suspect description, police said.

Lampson Avenue, between Chateau Court and Arrowhead Street were shut down until 5 p.m. due to the homicide investigation, authorities say. All were asked to avoid the area during that time.
