Husband, Wife Found Shot To Death In Huntington Beach Home
Officers conducting a welfare check discovered the man & woman's bodies inside the house. Officials say there is no threat to the community.
HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA — A husband and wife were found shot to death in a Huntington Beach home, according to authorities.
Officers were sent to the 600 block of Eighth Street about 7:45 p.m. Monday to conduct a welfare check on the pair, and found the bodies of the 56-year-old man and the 55-year-old woman, according to the Huntington Beach Police Department.
Their names were withheld, pending notification of their relatives. There was no information released confirming or denying whether either of the gunshot wounds were self-inflicted as of this report.

"During the preliminary investigation, detectives have no reason to believe there is a threat to the community or an outstanding suspect(s)," police said Tuesday. "Because this is an ongoing investigation, no further details will be released at this time."
