Los Al Pee Wee Basketball Team Gets Major Partnership

Los Alamitos Youth Basketball has gotten a big slam dunk with a partnership with the LA Clippers, it was announced Thursday.

LOS ALAMITOS, CA — The City of Los Alamitos Youth Basketball League is proud to announce a new partnership with the Los Angeles Clippers organization.

The eleven-week program offers participants a perfect opportunity to improve his or her basketball skills, learn the value of sportsmanship, and form long lasting friendships. After school practices will be held once a week at local Los Alamitos Unified School District sites beginning January 8th , with games played every Saturday and/or Mondays depending on schedule at the Oak Middle School Gym.

The Clippers partnership will include a clinic by Los Angeles Clippers alumni taking place on Saturday, January 13 th at noon for all players, along with a Clippers “shooting” shirt, sportsmanship programs and, so much more.

The Los Alamitos Youth Basketball league offers four separate age divisions. The “Pee Wee” division is for children in K & 1 st grade, the “All-Star” division is for children in 2 nd & 3 rd grade, the “Dream Team” division is for children in 4 th & 5 th grade, and the “Legends” division is for children in 6 th , 7 th , & 8 th grade.

There are no try-outs for the Los Alamitos Youth Basketball League and all skill levels are welcome. Teams will be formed based on the amount of registrations for each school site.
