Two patrons were sent to area hospitals following a car crashing into the Au Coeur de Paris Bakery, OCFA said

LOS ALAMITOS, CA — A car slammed into a bakery-restaurant in Westminster Wednesday, sending two patrons to area hospitals. Westminster police are investigating the incident.

The car crashed into Au Coeur de Paris, 9400 block of Edinger Ave., just before 10:45 a.m., according to Orange County Fire Authority Capt. Larry Kurtz.

The driver -- a man in his 40s -- avoided injury, but a woman in her 40s who was in the business sustained minor injuries and another patron was considered a "trauma" patient and was also hospitalized, Kurtz said.
