Los Alamitos Bank Robbed in Dramatic Take-Over Style Heist
Suspects are still at large after taking over a Los Alamitos bank on Katella Avenue and pepper spraying several people.
A violent takeover-style robbery was reported at a City National Bank branch in Los Alamitos today, the FBI said.
The bank branch at 5252 Katella Ave. was hit about 10 a.m., according to FBI spokeswoman Laura Eimiller.
At least one of the robbers brandished a handgun as he ordered employees and customers around, Eimiller said. The masked suspects assaulted multiple victims with pepper spray, Eimiller said.

The two robbers are men in the late 20s or early 30s with slim builds and who were wearing casual clothing, authorities said.
