Los Alamitos Federal Workers: Food Assistance

LOS ALAMITOS, CA — It is Friday. For many, it should be payday, however the federal government's shutdown continues to linger. According to the non-profit group, one in six Orange County residents have missed two paychecks due to the government shutdown.

While an update was expected Friday afternoon, regarding an announcement from the White House, many across the county are struggling to afford the bare essentials this week.

Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County shared a list of food banks and non-profits in all Orange County communities who can lend a hand to those in need during this time:
