Los Alamitos High School Has 2 League Championship Teams For 2017

LOS ALAMITOS, CA — Congratulations to the Los Alamitos High School football team – Sunset League Champions! They will host a first-round CIF Southern Section playoff game this Friday, November 10th, against Norco High School. The game will be played at Cerritos College with a 7 p.m. kick off. Tickets are on sale now at the Los Alamitos High School Activities Office from 7:30 a.m.-8 a.m. during lunch and after school until 3:30 p.m.

Students/Children are $5.00 and Adults are $10. Ticket prices are established by CIF and there is no ASB discount for CIF playoff games. The Griffins enter the playoffs with a 7-3 record and a 5-0 record in the Sunset League.

Congratulations to the Varsity Boys Cross Country Team - Sunset League Champions for the first time in over a decade. Both Boys and Girls Varsity Cross Country will be competing in the CIF Southern Section Preliminaries this Friday, November 10th , at the Riverside Cross Country Course. Both teams will be looking to qualify for the CIF Southern Section Championships that will take place on Saturday, November 18th at the Riverside Cross Country Course. The Varsity Girls took second place, and Delaney Sanacore won the Varsity
Girls individual championship.
