Los Alamitos Police Get Treats from Visitors at Halloween

For 2016, the Los Alamitos Police Department shared some special visits from area residents to the police station.

LOS ALAMITOS, CA — The Los Alamitos Police Department made sure they talked with those they serve and protect about safety at Halloween time, common sense and let all know they would be on the streets taking care of area residents.

What they got back in return was a reminder of why they do what they do.

"First, we had the City Pre-School Class come by and get a tour of the building, equipment and police cars in use to serve the community," the department stated in a release. "They are a great bunch of kids and they left with goody bags and big smiles."

Treats, not tricks, thanks to area families from Rossmoor.

"Next we had kids from the Wheaton and Hasty families of Seal Beach and Rossmoor who dropped off a tasty snack and some wonderful cards that were a hit among all the staff working to keep the neighborhoods safe," they said. "Thank you so much for the kind words and expression of support!"
