UPDATE: Major Freeway Closures Return This Weekend

Here's what routes will be offline in your neighborhood.

FREEWAY CLOSURES 

Northbound I-405 Freeway Closed at Seal Beach Blvd.

  • Closed from 11 PM Saturday, 6/1 to 7 AM Sunday, 6/2.
DETOUR I:
  1. From NB I-405 exit Valley View St. (left on Garden Grove Blvd.), left on Valley View St.
  2. Right on Westminster Ave.
  3. Right on Studebaker Rd. to access WB SR-22 / 7th St. on-ramp OR continue on Studebaker Rd. to access NB I-405 on-ramp
DETOUR II:
  1. From NB I-405 exit Valley View St. (left on Garden Grove Blvd.), right on Valley View St.
  2. Left on Katella Ave. to access NB I-605 on-ramp
Northbound I-405 Freeway Closed at Valley View St.
  • Closed 11 PM to 5 AM, Friday, 5/31.
DETOUR I:
  1. From NB I-405 exit Valley View St. (left on Garden Grove Blvd.), left on Valley View St.
  2. Right on Westminster Ave.
  3. Right on Studebaker Rd. to access WB SR-22 / 7th St. on-ramp OR continue on Studebaker Rd. to access NB I-405 on-ramp
DETOUR II:
  1. From NB I-405 exit Valley View St. (left on Garden Grove Blvd.), right on Valley View St.
  2. Left on Katella Ave. to access NB I-605 on-ramp
Southbound I-405 Freeway Closed from Studebaker Rd. to Bolsa Chica Rd.
  • Closed from 11 PM to 5 AM, Friday, 5/31. 
DETOUR I:
  1. From SB I-405 exit Studebaker Rd., turn right
  2. Left on E. 2nd St. (becomes Westminster Ave.)
  3. Continue on Westminster Ave. to access SB I-405 on-ramp
DETOUR II:
  1. From SB I-405 exit Studebaker Rd., turn right
  2. Left on E. 2nd St. (becomes Westminster Ave.)
  3. Continue on Westminster Ave., then left on Bolsa Chica Rd.
  4. Right on Garden Grove Blvd. to access EB SR-22 on-ramp
Westbound SR-22 Freeway Closed at Valley View St.
  • Closed 11 PM to 5 AM, Friday, 5/31. 
DETOUR I:
  1. From WB SR-22 exit Valley View St., turn left
  2. Right on Westminster Ave.
  3. Right on Studebaker Rd. to access WB SR-22 / 7th St. on-ramp OR NB I-405 on-ramp
DETOUR II:
  1. From WB SR-22 exit Valley View St., turn right
  2. Left on Katella Rd. to access NB I-605 on-ramp
CONNECTOR CLOSURES

Southbound I-605 to Westbound SR-22 / 7th Street Connector Closed
  • Closed nightly, 11 PM to 5 AM, Friday, 5/31.

  1. From SB I-605 exit Willow St., turn right
  2. Left on Studebaker Rd. and continue south to access WB SR-22 / 7th St. on-ramp              
7th St. / Eastbound SR-22 Connector to Southbound I-405 Freeway Closed
  • Closed 11 PM to 5 AM, Friday, 5/31.
DETOUR:
  1. From 7th St. / EB SR-22 exit Studebaker Rd., turn left
  2. Left on E. 2nd St. (becomes Westminster Ave.)
  3. Continue on Westminster Ave. to access SB I-405 on-ramp
7th St. / Eastbound SR-22 Connector to Northbound I-605 Freeway Closed
  • Closed 11 PM to 5 AM, Friday, 5/31.

Southbound I-605 Connector to Southbound I-405 Freeway Closed
  • Closed 11 PM to 5 AM, Friday, 5/31.

  1. From SB I-605 exit Katella Ave., turn right
  2. Right on Valley View St.
  3. Proceed on Valley View St./Bolsa Chica Rd. to access SB I-405 on-ramp
RAMP CLOSURES 

7th St. / Eastbound SR-22 On-Ramp Closed at Studebaker Rd.
  • Closed 10 PM to 5 AM, Friday, 5/31.
DETOUR I:
  1. From 7th St. / EB SR-22 exit Studebaker Rd., turn left
  2. Left on E. 2nd St. (becomes Westminster Ave.)
  3. Continue on Westminster Ave. to access SB I-405 on-ramp
DETOUR II:
  1. From 7th St. / EB SR-22 exit Studebaker Rd., turn left
  2. Left on E. 2nd St. (becomes Westminster Ave.)
  3. Continue on Westminster Ave.
  4. Left on Bolsa Chica Rd.
  5. Right on Garden Grove Blvd. to access EB SR-22 on-ramp
Northbound I-405 On-Ramp Closed at Seal Beach Blvd.
  • Closed 10 PM to 5 AM, nightly, Friday, 5/31.
DETOUR I:
  1. From Seal Beach Blvd. (north of I-405) proceed north to Katella Ave., turn left to access NB I-605 on-ramp or continue on Katella Ave.
  2. Left on Studebaker Rd. to access NB I-405 on-ramp
DETOUR II:
  1. From Seal Beach Blvd. (south of I-405) continue south, right on Westminster Ave.
  2. Right on Studebaker Ave. to access WB SR-22 / 7th St. on-ramp or continue north to access NB I-405 on-ramp
Northbound I-405 Off-Ramp Closed at Seal Beach Blvd.
  • Closed 10 PM to 5 AM, Friday.
DETOUR I:
  1. From NB I-405 exit Valley View St. (left on Garden Grove Blvd.), left on Valley View St.
  2. Right on Westminster Ave.
  3. Turn right to access Seal Beach Blvd. (south of I-405 freeway)
DETOUR II:
  • From NB I-405 exit Valley View St. (left on Garden Grove Blvd.), right on Valley View St.
  • Left on Katella Ave.
  • Turn left on Los Alamitos Blvd. (becomes Seal Beach Blvd.) to access Seal Beach Blvd. north of I-405 freeway) 
Southbound I-405 On-Ramp Closed at Seal Beach Blvd.
  • Closed 10 PM to 5 AM, Friday, 5/31.
DETOUR:
  1. From Seal Beach Blvd. (south of I-405) proceed south to Westminster Ave. turn left
  2. Continue on Westminster Ave. to access SB I-405 freeway on-ramp

  1. From Seal Beach Blvd. (north of I-405), proceed north on Seal Beach Blvd./Los Alamitos Blvd., turn right on Katella Ave.
  2. Right on Valley View St. to access SB I-405 freeway on-ramp
Southbound I-405 Off-Ramp Closed at Seal Beach Blvd.
  • Closed 10 PM to 5 AM, Friday.
DETOUR:
  1. From SB I-405 exit Studebaker Rd., turn right
  2. Left on E. 2nd St. (becomes Westminster Ave.)
  3. Continue on Westminster Ave.
  4. Turn left to access Seal Beach Blvd.
Southbound I-405 Off-Ramp Closed at Bolsa Chica Rd.
  • Closed 10 PM to 5 AM, nightly, Tuesday, 5/28 through Friday, 5/31.
DETOUR:
  1. From SB I-405 continue onto EB SR-22
  2. Exit Valley View St.
  3. Right on Garden Grove Blvd. to access Bolsa Chica Rd.
Westbound SR-22 On-Ramps Closed at Valley View St.
  • Closed 10 PM to 5 AM, Friday, 5/31.
DETOUR:
  1. From Valley View St. continue south
  2. Right on Westminster Ave.
  3. Right on Studebaker Rd. to access WB SR-22 / 7th St. on-ramp or continue north on Studebaker Rd. to access NB I-405 on-ramp     
Westbound SR-22 On-Ramps Closed at Valley View St.
  • Closed 10 PM to 5 AM, nightly, Friday, 5/31.
DETOUR:
  1. From Valley View St. continue south
  2. Right on Westminster Ave.
  3. Right on Studebaker Rd. to access WB SR-22 / 7th St. on-ramp or continue north on Studebaker Rd. to access NB I-405 on-ramp.
STREET CLOSURE 

Seal Beach Blvd. Closed between Old Ranch Pkwy. and N. Gate Rd.
  • Closed 10 PM to 5 AM, nightly, Friday and Saturday.
DETOUR:
  1. Use Valley View St.
