Luis Carlos Montalvan is a 17 year army veteran who earned the Combat Action Badge, two Bronze Stars and the Purple Heart. He returned home from two tours of duty in Iraq suffering from traumatic brain injury and post traumatic stress disorder as well as physical wounds. Hear how one remarkable golden retriever named Tuesday, who had some trust issues of his own, helped him find the courage to find his way to recovery.
The event is sponsored by the Friends of the Los Alamitos-Rossmoor Library and is free to the public. Please call the Library check out desk 562 430-1048 to RSVP because seating may be limited. This is a unique opportunity to meet two American heros and to hear the story of the power of love to heal.
