Monday Surf Report

Get to work on time.

Waking up with the waves on Monday, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Los Alamitos-Seal Beach Patch surf report.  Well, it's looking pretty lousy out there today.  Unfortunately, we're seeing the return of that marine layer which is bringing some wind with it. The conditions are semi-clean, with some spots seeing some texture or light bump on it already.  As far as the surf goes...there's a very small combination of swells in the water. We've got some holding northwest windswell and some increasing south southwest energy out there.  That recipe is making for some fairly crumbly and lined up waves, with a few workable corners.  You'll want to breakout the small wave gear! Most Seal Beach spots are running about ankle to knee high, with the focal points pulling a few plus sets.  Taking a look at those tides...at 10:24 later this morning it pushes up to a 4.6 high and then drains out to a 0.8 low at 3:48 this afternoon. If you're going to get wet, you can definitely pull-off a 3/2 full-suit, with the water temperature averaging between 58 and 60 degrees.  Good luck out there!
