Waking up with the waves on Monday, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Los Alamitos-Seal Beach Patch surf report. Well, definitely don't make it a priority to paddle. We're already seeing some lousy conditions out there, with only a minimal amount of energy.
Most spots are dealing with some light to moderate chop on it early on, with a mixture of some fairly small northwest wind and stormswell. That recipe is providing some disorganized lines, with nothing to really work with!
Most Seal Beach spots are running about knee high, with the focal points pulling a few thigh to waist high sets.

Taking a look at those tides...at 10:16 this morning it climbs up to a 4.1 high and then drops to a 0.9 low at 4:07 this afternoon.
If you're desperate to get wet, throw on the 4/3 fullsuit and maybe the booties, with the water temperature averaging between 55 and 57 degrees.

FYI: Health officials urge surfers and swimmers to stay out of the ocean after a rain for at least 72 hours, especially near river mouths, harbor entrances and storm drains.
