Waking up with the waves on Monday, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Los Alamitos-Seal Beach Patch surf report. Well, you'll definitely want to break out the small wave gear for this stretch of coast. Yep, we're seeing some pretty minimal surf out there.
The conditions are starting off clean and glassy, with a mixture of mostly leftover west northwest energy and just a hint of southwesterly swell in the water. That's offering some pretty weak and crumbly lines, with a few that'll get you going on a log.
Most Seal Beach spots are running about ankle to knee high, with the standout breaks pulling some thigh high waves, with not much more than that. Meanwhile, if you head south towards Huntington you can find a few playful size waves coming through!

At 5:09 this morning the tide climbed up to a 4.7 high which will have many spots pretty full and slow early on. The tide then drains out to a 0.0 low at 12:49 this afternoon.
If you're going to get wet, throw on that thicker full-suit and maybe the booties, with the water temperature averaging between 56 and 57 degrees. See ya in the water!
