Police Seek Witnesses to Seal Beach Stabbing
A homeless man was stabbed in the back during an argument near the San Gabriel River jetty.

Seal Beach Police are asking anyone who has information about a stabbing near the San Gabriel River jetty to come forward.
On Saturday, officers responding to a report of a robbery west of the jetty separating Seal Beach and Long Beach discovered a homeless man who had been stabbed in the back.
According to police, two Long Beach transients aged 57 and 58, had gotten into a fight.

āDuring the fight, one of the subjects was in possession of a knife and stabbed the other subject in the back,ā said Seal Beach Police Department Sgt. Philip Gonshak. āBoth subjects were detained by responding Officers and transported to local hospitals for non-life threatening injuries.ā
The cause of the argument and the circumstances of the stabbing remain under investigation, and no arrests have been made yet, he said.
