The Southland Credit Union Annual Los Alamitos Race on the Base is all set to take place on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2015.
Southland Credit Union invites you to receive a free Los Alamitos Race on the Base race registration for 1K/5K/10K events or 50 percent off the Reverse Triathlon when you join Southland Credit Union. To join, simply go online or call 800-426-1917.

You may also sign up at the Southland Credit Union Branch located at 10701 Los Alamitos Blvd. Los Alamitos or at the Los Alamitos Community Center located at 10911 Oak St.
Race on the Base events include a Reverse Triathlon, Jr. Reverse Triathlon, 10K Run, 5K Run / Walk, Mission:1K Kids Run, and Wheelchair/Handcycle Race. The race is held on the runways at the Joint Forces Training Base in Los Alamitos and features helicopters, planes and military vehicles with music throughout the course.

The event also features a distinctive safe-wick moisture management long sleeved shirt for all participants and volunteers, free breakfast or lunch for all racers, two-day vendor expo, free race clinics, and finisher medals.
There is a ”hero discount” of $5 off to all military, police and fire personnel. At registration, enter the coupon code HERO2015 to receive the discount. At packet pick-up, you will be required to present your military, police and fire identification to verify eligibility of this discount.
