Restaurant Manager Forbade Breast Pump Use, Claims Waitress

A Seal Beach restaurant manager denied a waitress the right to breast pump milk, the waitress claimed, according to CBS. 

New mother Kristen Joseph, 28, said one of her bosses at Hennessey’s Tavernforbid her “breast pumping” for her 6-month-old son Wrigley, according to CBS News.

“He said it was disgusting. He said he didn’t want me to spray all over his office. I was just appalled at what he had to say,” Joseph told CBS.

The manager on duty at Hennessey’s told KCAL9’s Juan Fernandez that they had no response to the allegations.

Joseph told the news station she is trying to raise awareness on behalf of working mothers.
