Seal Beach Public Safety Awards Luncheon Honors Local Officials
The 6th annual Public Safety Awards Luncheon will be held Tuesday at the Old Ranch Country Club in Seal Beach, by the SB Police Foundation.

SEAL BEACH, CA — On Tuesday, May 1, the Seal Beach Police Foundation will hold their 6th annual Public Safety Awards Luncheon. The event will take place at 11 a.m. at the Old Ranch Country Club in Seal Beach, coordinators say.
Registration is closed for the event that will honor volunteer programs, lifesaving events, exemplary service, the Police Office of the Year and Chief's Commendation.
As in years past, stories will be shared by the city's first responders.

"We will be recognizing all the members of our public safety team, including our partners at the Marine Safety Bureau, Orange County Fire Authority, as well as the people who do great work during the year," Seal Beach Sgt. Michael Henderson said in a recent interview.
The foundation reportedly steps in to provide resources and tools to help people who need help in the city of Seal Beach.

"We couldn't be more appreciative of what the Seal Beach Police Foundation does for our department," Henderson said.
The Seal Beach Police Foundation consists of citizens and partners who aid in the SBPD's work in the community.
