Seal Beach police attempted to pull over the car, and the driver fled, leading to a pursuit along the SR-22 Freeway.
"The vehicle entered SR-22 westbound, and was involved in a collision in the area of Valley View Street," CHP officer Mitch Smith reported. "Officers attempted to take the driver into custody when an officer-involved shooting occurred."
