Support the Troops: Operation Egg Hunt

Donations of hotdogs, burgers, buns and plastic eggs are needed for Operation Egg Hunt at the Los Alamitos Joint Forces Training Base.

They’ve given their all for Operation Enduring Freedom, and now the community has a chance to give back with Operation Egg Hunt.

The Veteran’s Center at the Los Alamitos Joint Forces Training Base is rolling out an Easter Egg Hunt Saturday March 31st for the community and for the military families at the Los Alamitos Joint Forces Training Base.

More than 100 children and families are expected for the Easter Egg Hunt and barbecue. In support of the soldiers and their families, the veteran’s center is seeking donations of 300 hotdogs or hamburgers along with 300 buns, mustard, ketchup, relish, 1200 plastic Easter Eggs and baskets and grass.

Operation Egg Hunt will is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 31 at the Joint Force Training Base Los Alamitos. To donate, call David Cook at 949.394.6079.
